Shetland Bowling Club, stopped off on their long journey to Potters for a friendly fixture at Durham.
Following a meal and a “wee dram” to refresh themselves, and a bit of practice time for our visitors; we played 6 rinks and had a thoroughly enjoyable match.
Prizes, presentations and another opportunity for refreshment followed – so a good time was had by all!
Who won ??? Well while it didn’t really matter – the Calcutta Cup was retained!!
