Bowlathon

From 9.00am on Friday 20th until 9.00am Saturday 21st – Norman Lewins undertook a 24 hour Bowlathon to raise money for the Club and for the “Stroke Association”. He was to have undertaken this alongside his fellow member and friend Steve Wright, who was unfortunately taken ill in the days before – we wish him well in his recovery.

Steve was with us all the way – take a close look at the photographs, and Norman was supported by lots of splendid, wonderful members bowling alongside him right through to the end. Face masks, teddy bears and night attire were entirely optional but did raise a laugh and well over £3,000. Well done to everyone involved.
