From 9.00am on Friday 20th until 9.00am Saturday 21st – Norman Lewins undertook a 24 hour Bowlathon to raise money for the Club and for the “Stroke Association”. He was to have undertaken this alongside his fellow member and friend Steve Wright, who was unfortunately taken ill in the days before – we wish him well in his recovery. A touring party from Lincolnshire visited our Club for a friendly (but competitive) game on Friday 20th March. A good time was had by all, with the final score being 88 – 88; which was secured by our final rink scoring 1 shot on the final end. Steve was well advised to “just take the shot” before bowling his very ambitious final wood!
